StrokeIt!
Four years ago (all the way back in college), my classmates often wondered how I was able to pull of a lot of tricks in front of the screen while giving demos & presentations.
My secret? Well, it's just a mouse-gesture software called StrokeIt by Jeff Doozan.
Even before the release of Aero Shake and Aero Snap of Windows 7, I've been enjoying the perks of one-hand glory.
A few gestures that I always use:
- Copy [up]
- Paste [down]
- Alt+Tab selection Box [/ up]
- Minimize / Minimize All [/ down]
- Close [C]
- Back & Forward
- Maximize [right-then-up]
- Minimize to taskbar tray [\ down]
- Open new tab [up-then-right]
- Space [7], Enter [down-then-right], Backspace [down-then-left], Delete [\ up]
- and many more. I've attached a copy of my settings file that you can import (compatible with Windows XP, Vista, 7)
Of course, you can always play with the program settings to you heart's desire.
Creating your own gesture commands is also a breeze.
So what are you waiting for? Give it try!
It's a freeware (Free for personal use. Requires license only for commercial purposes).
